If you are in receipt of a letter stating that you owe a delinquent tax and you live in the City of Alexandria, this bill was generated by the Campbell County Property Valuation Administration (PVA) who is responsible for calculating the tax bills. The original bills were sent out with an incorrect tax rate for the Alexandria Fire District on the original tax bill.
A supplement tax bill was mailed out to all residents within the Alexandria Fire District with the correction for additional taxes that were not included in the original bill. We apologize for the additional bill and inconvenience . The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is the collection agent for the county.
